Boasting one of the biggest patios in town, Loco Lou's is right across 16th Avenue from SAIT and packed with students. Pool, VLTs, a full menu of good basics and daily specials. The weird staircase to the upstairs is in itself worth a visit.

Known for their huge, multi-level patio and crowds leering onto 17th Avenue, Melrose is constantly packed for Red Mile-style partying (whether or not it's playoff season). There are always Harley Davidsons lined up out front in the summer and TVs galore playing sports.
This massive sports bar has two locations featuring big screens, mini golf, pool, VLTs, trivia and an arcade. Super fun if you aren't prone to sensory overload. Glow bowling at the north location.
