Squish is on Banff's main drag, on the lower level (in the cellar) between the Fudge Factory and Starbucks. The lengthy deli sandwich menu includes straight-from-Montreal smoked meat that's steamed for four hours each morning and hardly requires chewing. There's also fresh produce, imported meats and cheeses, and real milkshakes. Order at the counter and sit in shiny new booths, or take it to go — to the ski hill or for the drive home.
