Fostering a more caring Calgary

With all the talk about the closing down of the Second Chance Recovery methadone clinic and NIMBYism in Calgary, this pairing of tweets seemed too perfect not to post. The earlier one is from our intrepid news writer, the other from a local librarian and all-around lovely girl.

Can you draw any conclusions from that? Probably not. But it's nice to remember that you don't have to live in a Utopia to come across the occasional wonderful moment. And that people who look through dumpsters for bottles (as the homeless man was doing) can be gentlemen, too. Just being aware of that seems like a step in the right direction when it comes to making "a more caring Calgary."
