Fiery Furnaces Live Insanity (+bonus nerd content)

I've spent some amount of time trying to get Flash to work properly on my Linux machine at work today. For the past few weeks, the audio part has been completely non-functional. So basically I can watch video clips without audio.

Anyways, the process required some sort of test routine, so I ended up doing a different youtube search every time I loaded up the browser and I ended up stumbling across this Fiery Furnaces clip, which is totally badass:

Incidentally, for anyone who's interested (i.e. nerds,) Adobe finally gave some love to the Linux community today by releasing a pre-release alpha of the 64-bit Flash 10 plugin exclusively for the Linux platform! This is pretty sweet, especially for those of us who remember the early days of 64-bit platforms where you had to do a bunch of cheesy hacking to get teh YouTubez working.

I did have to fight through some pretty lame crap, including one near-epic system meltdown, to get everything working today, but I'm up and running again, with a near-functional version of openSUSE 11.2 still running KDE 3.5. I tooled around a bit with KDE 4.3 this morning, but screw that noise. It's still so broken.
