Super Furry Animals: Dark Days/Light Years Mini-Documentary

This is a few months old, but I was just over at pitchfork.tv checking out some awesome live footage (oh man! Mr. November!) and I noticed that you can still watch the awesome 45-minute mini-documentary about Super Furry Animals.

The film intersperses live-from-the-floor recording sessions with spaced-out interviews featuring (out-spaced?) band members talking about the sprawling, unhinged record they put out earlier this year. The result is a hilarious, psychedelic look inside the band's recording process.

So if you find yourself with a spare 45 minutes, go watch it. It's sooooo worthwhile. And if you don't, just skip to 12:20 and watch front-man Gruff explain the revolutionary Festyval Wynd pedal.
