Polaris 09 Short List Announcement Imminent

The Short List will be announced at 11 AM Calgary time on Sirius CBC Radio 3, or you can catch the stream online.

Here's my humble, last-minute prediction:

K'naan
Malajube

Rae Spoon
Chad VanGaalen
Martha Wainwright

My final ballot looked like this:

1. Chad VanGaalen
2. Rae Spoon
3. Bruce Peninsula
4. Bell Orchestre
5. Fucked Up

... so my prediction would get me 3/5, which is not half bad. I think there's a chance Bell Orchestre could squeak on there, but I doubt Bruce Peninsula has a chance... The other three, I fully expect are locks. We'll see if the jury surprises me! Just a few minutes now!
