Eight! Teen! Thousand! Lightsabers!

Everything you need to know about this video:

  • It is for a videogame, Bioware's upcoming (and teriffic looking) Knights of the Old Republic MMO.
  • It contians, without a doubt, a better lightsaber fight than anything in the new trilogy.
  • It has absolutely nothing to do with Art Brut.

Have you watched it? Okay good.

What I love about this--especially the guy who is obviously just Darth Vader--is that it basically represents Bioware trying to fix the awful mess George Lucas has made of the once-beloved franchise. I personally felt the teenaged version of myself stir inside me excitedly while watching this video, which is something I can't say I've felt for Star Wars in a long time. Now I better go before he takes over entirely, and I start sweating uncontrollably whenever I see a girl.
