slut (r)evolution

It's interesting how someone can be so sexually vulgar yet touchingly vulnerable at the same time, but Cameryn Moore pulls this off with a gentle honesty in slut (r)evolution at the Fringe Festival.

As one of the festival's risque offerings, this show is for 18+ audiences and even at that, if you are easily offended it may not be your show. But if you are open minded you will enjoy this memoire/comedy/sexual revolutionizing attraction as Moore speaks of her childhood and how rebelling against her Mormon upbringing led her to become a slut — she even realies how unoriginal the concept is but fully embraces her sexual side.

From one night stands, to kink clubs and BDSM fetishes with nipple clamp pins at Burning Man, Moore fully embraces her sexual side and even speaks of her sometimes lesbianiasm (she was monogomous with a woman for like, eight years). But then she went back to dick, as she put it, or cock, or whatever you want to call it.

Through the ups and downs of her sexual conquests, the audience is taken on a ride where she is either directly talking to the audience during the one-woman one-hour show, or re-enacting the sexual situations from her life, including as a teenaged girl who is finding dirty books to um, well, masturbate to.

Anyhow — Moore is as open and honest and forward as they come, so check out her show as it lasts only another five nights this week.

The venue, the Dade Arts & Design Lab, is a nice switch up from the gyms and churches of the festival, but it's still a tad hot so dress lightly.
