Andrew WK in Calgary, May 29

(That's Andrew WK's "Party All Goddamn Night," from his forthcoming, Japanese-released EP)

According to Facebook, Andrew WK — or perhaps an Andrew WK impostor, if you're a conspiracy theorist type — lands in Calgary on Sunday, May 29 at the Commonwealth Hall (which appears to be the old Warehouse space on 10th. We'll see). He'll be performing solo, which essentially means it's going to be Andrew and a tape deck, but that shouldn't dampen the flow of non-stop high-kicks, suspect bloody noses and, well, more high-kicks.

Anyhow, even if 2011's AWK is a doppelganger of 2003's AWK, that hasn't curbed his endless amounts of philosopher-king Twitter wisdom. Here, choice cuts from @AndrewWK:

ANDREW WK
I'm destroying my life and using the wreckage to build myself a party.
ANDREW WK
PARTY TIP: If pleasure is calling you, let yourself come.
ANDREW WK
The more I grow up and become an adult, the more I realize how stupid, irresponsible, and immature it is not to party.
ANDREW WK
I never wash my hands and I wear rubber gloves in the shower. I just don't like how water feels on my fingers and palms.
ANDREW WK
God is not dead, he's just partying.
