All the world’s a stage. Or in this case, all of the EPCOR Centre for the Performing Arts:

Swallow-a-Bicycle’s Freak Show returns to the High Performance Rodeo for another year. Another year of strange tours through plus-15’s, freight elevators and the bowels of the EPCOR Centre. Another year of perplexing performances, entirely unique and crafted from the ground up by up-and-coming artists. And you might even get to participate in it.
One of yesterday’s previews was for Temptation & Transgression. Utterly hilarious and surprisingly consistent in tone and theme, thanks to flamboyant and sex-hungry tour guides Devon Dubnyk and Patrick Quinn. Definitely for those with an open mind. It’s a short run too, only three nights from now til Saturday. Plenty more to see next though.

Fight choreography and an impromptu dances. Palm readings and pregnancies. Monologues and missing limbs. But the less you know, the better. Instead, place your trust in your eccentric tour guide. There are three separate tours, three separate guides, three separate sets of performances. Consistency may vary, but you’re bound to see something that works for you. And what better use for a storage room during off-hours than a public performance?
Show info here.
Note: If you really want to spoil the surprise for yourself (you really shouldn't), there’s a rather neat video here that reveals some of what you might see.
