The Eagles - History of the Eagles Tour! For the love of all things sacred and holy, I don't want to be the only one in this town singing "New Kid in Town" every morning. Go see them if you're so inclined, they play September 11 at the Saddledome, tickets are on sale Monday, May 6 at 10 am at TM.

Gold & Youth (they're golden, they're youthful... yeah, I got nothin') on May 19 at The Palomino, tickets $12 plus s/c at TM & Sloth Records Friday May 3 at 10am. Go(ld) get 'em! (hah, cracked myself up there).

Okay, maybe it's not an extravaganza. But maybe it is? Here's what I got for you: Halestorm will be coming to the Republik on Thursday, June 27, with tickets $26 plus s/c on sale Friday, April 5 at 10am here.

After you've recovered from that show, then head down to the Saddledome on July 13 for KISS! Didn't they play their farewell tour here oh, what was it, 10 years ago? Maybe this is just a continuation of that tour, who's to say? Tickets start at $59 and go on sale April 5 at 10am at TM.

And now, a personal fave...

Heh heh, Sesame Street. But hey! Mumford & Sons will be bringing their folky goodness to the Saddledome on Tuesday, May 21 with guests Mystery Jets & Michael Kiwanuka. Tickets for this show will put you back between $40-$50 plus s/c and are on sale April 5 here. 

I really hope everyone realizes that I write these titles for my own, personal amusement. Alright! So much to report, and really, infinite time! Let's start with the more recent announcements here - Billy Bragg! Oh how I love Billy Bragg! And he'll be performing with Kim Churchill on April 8 at MacEwan Hall. So much to tell! So little time! Well, there's a bit of time, so here goes. As you may have heard last week, Fleetwood Mac will be rolling into town on May 17, playing at the Saddledome.
