More wind power for Alberta?

The Alberta government is considering substantially jacking up the amount of wind power the province can generate. Currently, the government maintains a cap on production of wind power electricity at 900 megawatts, which could be raised to 1,500 in the near future. The province claims the cap is necessary because the amount of wind is difficult to predict. Alberta is the only province that currently has a cap.
