In last week’s news story “Routine inaction on environmental report fuels frustration among scientists,” Fiona Schmiegelow, University of Alberta professor of renewable resources, was incorrectly quoted as saying the woodland caribou report she chaired requires additional work. “It stands as is,” she says. “There is still much to learn, however, the report contains plenty of information to guide actions to support caribou conservation.”
