I coached Lee Richardson when he played on the Vincent Massey Junior High School basketball team in southwest Calgary. He claims it is not the kids next door who do crime, but he knows very well that two other boys from his team trashed Ernest Manning High School a couple of years later. These were not immigrant kids but boys living next door to Lee. I might add that Lee was a good team player but often missed his foul shots.
