Your “News Note” about Joe Anglin suing three former Alberta Greens officials (including me) calls Anglin the Alberta Green Party leader. Elections Alberta deregistered the party in July 2009 at Anglin’s request, so he is no leader.
Anglin is quoted as saying “We can’t understand why they are withholding the books.” Since we turned over the books — and everything else down to stationery and stamps — in December 2008, a question to be asked is: Why Anglin persists in saying we didn’t. Requests to acknowledge receipt of things we know that Anglin and his lawyer did receive were ignored from the beginning. I wonder why.
