A limerick for the Government's Sick

As an Albertan disgruntled with the leadership of the Conservative government, I have written a political limerick which outlines my frustrations. An Albertan’s Political Précis Alberta’s Conservatives suck. They are sinking us deep in the muck. Their policies stink, They’ve proved they can’t think For their planning’s not thought but just luck. We need leaders who see the real world. Their mind’s sails on the mast and unfurled. Through fair wind or foul In spite of fate’s scowl Keep their hands on the tiller firm curled. What we Albertans have there instead Are leaders with few thoughts in their head. They’re trying to lead But have gone to seed And are leading us deep in the red. Leaders need to see the whole picture Not think with their minds in a stricture. Shortsighted game plans Make us also rans. Give us thinking and action; the mixture. J. Patrick H. Wyse, Caglary
