Wow! These guys really like Satan! The word “Satan” is mentioned in the name of the band, and the album title! From the opening scream and the furious double bass attack, you know these guys are paying homage to their dark lord. Satan’s followers seem to conjure up some of the most interesting and brutal music in the business. It’s almost as if he gives them the power to shred on guitars, drum at an ultra fast pace and howl like they’ve never howled before.
Well, this band is actually kind of same-y. All of the songs sound pretty similar, making that usual chug-a-lug drum beat most metal bands do. The vocals are pretty inaudible, but I guess that’s to be expected when you are screaming to your heart’s content. The track titles are pretty bad ass, so it’s to be assumed that the lyrics follow suit.
The track “March The Dead” does sound like a good song to raise the dead, though. If you equipped your zombie friends with a few horns and string instruments to play, it would be a much more intriguing take on the usual howling, wailing and stomping around.
