MASERATI
Inventions for the New Season
Temporary Residence

· Imagine if Michael Mann wanted U2 to score his new crime thriller, but they quit half-way through and Trans Am finished it up.

Space rock can be a little wimpy and post rock can be overly complex. The great thing about Maserati is they take the best of both genres while dodging the pitfalls. This four-piece from Athens, Georgia is mathy enough to be engaging, but light enough that you don’t get lost. Epic, beautiful, propulsive, eerie and cinematic all at the same time, Inventions For the New Season is where pop hook meets white noise.
