Tiger Army is proof that you can’t judge an album by its cover. Adorned with giant snarling tiger-bat hybrids, you would think this is the kind of punk with bite. Even the name, Tiger Army, seems to indicate fierce aggression. Not so. Music From Regions Beyond has limp guitars, safe hi-fi production and, most dishearteningly, whiny crooning from front man Nick 13. They may get the more sensitive kids dancing on Warped Tour this summer, but for my money they need to toughen up.
