Imagine Our Love is perhaps the most hippie-centric album since the soundtrack to Hair. Every song is just too over-the-top and filled with incessantly repeating mantras like "oh God I’ll never lie again" and "find a way, you find a way to love."
By the end of the album Beck Stark’s vocals are just too much. They’re too sincere, try too hard and they sound like that girl in your little sister’s choir that never says the Rs at the end of words. If you like your peaceful lamentations to come with a little extra lament, then great news, but if you are hoping for something arresting and beautiful then move along.
