·The Lingerie Handbook by Rebecca Apsan (Workman Publishing) $18.95.

Described as "the best bra-fitter in the country" by New York magazine, Aspen also provided much of the gitch for Sex and the City. Her book offers everything from the history of hosiery and bras, the perfect fitting undergarments for every outfit and body type and the difference between thong boy, laser cut and French-cut panties.

Up until the 19th century:

a) bras were made of wire mesh

b) women’s underpants only came in white

c) only men wore underpants

d) Britney Spears would have been considered a proper lady

Send in the correct answer (see contest entry information below) for a chance to win The Lingerie Handbook plus copies of the following DK books: XXX Sex Tonight: Intimate Secrets to Keep Him Wanting More by Anne Hooper, Quickies: Sizzling Spontaneous Sex by Tracey Cox (DK) and The Art of Tantric Sex by Nitya Lacroix.

·The Smart Girl’s Guide to Porn by Violet Blue (Cleis Press) $18.50. Considering that, according to a recent study, one in three viewers of porn is a woman, and considering that most porn doesn’t cater to us, Blue tells you how to find hot guys and real orgasms in porn as well as how to pop your porn-virgin cherry, where to find women-friendly smut and how to navigate the seductive but often scam-filled world of Internet porn.

Which of the following movie-title spoofs are not real porn titles:

a) Poltergash

b) Dude, Where’s My Dildo?

c) Thighs Wide Open

d) Moulin Splooge

Send in your answer for a chance to win a copy of The Smart Girl’s Guide to Porn plus Caught Looking: Erotic Tales of Voyeurs and Exhibitionists edited by Alison Taylor and Rachel Kramer Bussel (Cleis) and Naughty Spanking Stories from A to Z, Volume 2 edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel (PTQ), Erotica books.

·Naughty Crosswords published by nerve.com (Chronicle Books) $15.95. With clues like "Where Bill and Hillary started screwing, presumably" and answers like "Assfuck," nerve.com brings its signature, er, nerviness and funky graphics to Naughty Crosswords. With themes ranging from virginity to S&M, the book’s 50 puzzles also test you on a wide range of topics like cookies (Clue: Keebler’s fudge packers) to pop culture (Clue: Twins who became legal on June 13, 2004). A sex quiz and crossword book all in one!

·Eve’s Quest: A Trivia Game Celebrating Women (evesqeuest.com) $39.99. Created by Montrealers Odette McCarthy and Joanna Broadhurst, Eve’s Quest combines trivia, charades (How would you act out the concept of marital love? PMS?) and women’s intuition questions ("Give an example of an event that, if it were to happen, would clearly demonstrate that women had achieved equality with men.") into a fun board game that celebrates women’s achievements and experiences.

Boys and Their Toys: Understanding Men by Understanding Their Relationship with Gadgets by Bill Adler Jr. (Amacon).

·Bodies and Souls: The Century Project photographed by Frank Cordelle $46.95 (www.heurekaproductions.ca)

Back in the ’90s, Cordelle started a plan to photograph naked women whose lives span 100 years. Rather than a collection of some pervy guy’s shots of nude women, the Century Project became a powerful exhibition/celebration of more than 90 girls and women of many ages, shapes, sizes and conditions from zero-year-old Cara emerging from the womb to 94-year-old Mary. Each photo is accompanied by a statement from the woman about her body and/or the experience of being photographed naked.

To win a copy of The Body Century, tell us what you love most about your body.

Send all answers to admin@joseyvogels.com. Winners will be selected from all entries in each category.
