THE LIVING END
State of Emergency
Adeline Records

· Australian punkabilly trio knock your knee-socks off with crisp, energetic and racing ditties.

Dipped in the oh-so-sweet chocolate that is the upright bass, State of Emergency saucily barrels through speakers with 14 catchy selections. After more than 12 years together, these Melbourne mates have perfected their musical intuition as a band and the result is seamless, air-tight transitions, harmonies and fills.

Free of unnecessary frills and distractions, State is solid from start to finish. Capitalizing on the formula of a pop-punk ebb and flow frenzy, tracks like "Til the End" and "What’s On Your Radio?" are simple, lyrically precise and difficult to shake from your tongue. The pace is consistently sweaty, the rock-factor is high and the dance-potential is off the charts.
