| Re: "Not everything in Iraq has to do with America," by David Bright, Viewpoint, November 9-15, 2006.
In the debate regarding the U.S. military action in Iraq, David Bright viewpoint offers refreshing ideas and background on the conflict and how to deal with it. Staying the course will only prolong the inevitable, that the Iraqis have to sort out their historical animosities and start governing themselves. In either case, its up to the Iraqis to solve this horrible mess: neither the Americans, nor any other international force can make or help them do what they are not ready or willing to do themselves.
