| Re: "Imagine Calgary with more love and hugs," by Wes Lafortune, Viewpoint, August 24-30, 2006.
Thank you for Wes Lafortune's article on Imagine Calgary. Unlike Lafortune, I was invited to participate in the bogus process. It came complete with a swish chicken dinner at City Hall.
Our diverse group participated in numerous exercises which resulted in what Wes's children said spontaneously more love and hugs. Despite all the vision questing, any concrete recommendations will be nullified by Imagine Calgary's meetings with such groups as the UDI (Urban Development Institute), who will most authoritatively say if it sprawls or yawns it must be good.
The chicken, however, was lovely.
