Crisis
Distort

· Third full-length from hardcore darlings vibrates with tightly wound momentum.

In a similar vein to 2004’s Watch Out, Crisis highlights the complementary contrast between the vocal styles of George Pettit and Dallas Green (City and Colour). With the former’s biting, captivating power-screams and the latter’s melodic honey-coated cries teaming up tracks like "Boiled Frogs," "We Are the End" and the title track "Crisis" explode as they seesaw back and forth.

Backed by the usual driving, pulsating guitars and serrating drumming, Crisis barrels through 11 tracks without losing focus. The maturity gained after years of steady touring is gloriously evident as the strong internal rhythm between members is displayed in clean transitions, a seemingly more confident Green and an in-his-element Pettit.
