Stampede cruelty
The annual bloodbath known as the Stampede is here once again. Proponents of rodeo like to call this a "sport," with the animals as the athletes. They argue that rodeos save animals from the slaughterhouses.

I would rather see an animal be humanely slaughtered as opposed to being tortured first by having its legs or neck broken. The facts do not lie, and anyone who does not consider the Stampede rodeo or chuckwagon events to be cruel are in severe denial. Of course, only the opinion of the Stampede will be heard. I wonder how many animals will die this year.
