| Re: "Still holding their ground, and all grown up," by Shereen Tuomi, Music, November 17-23, 2005.
Shereen Tuomis article on the four-CD Hold Your Ground compilation contains a factual error. The GasCD project to which she and Gerald Wheatley referred was compiled in the wake of the protests in Quebec City against the proposed Free Trade Area of the Americas in April 2001, not the World Trade Organization meetings in Montreal.
In any event, Id like to congratulate Wheatley and the Arusha Centre on the project. I co-host and produce an alternative Alberta news program (Rise Up: Radio Free Edmonton) on Edmontons community-campus radio station, CJSR, and am always scrambling for political music preferably from Alberta. I shall scramble no longer. Hopefully the Arusha Centre will receive some deserved fundraising dollars due to my listeners acting on my incessant on-air praise of the project.
