SLIPKNOT
9.0: Live
Roadrunner

· It’s gotta be hard to sing through those masks.

For their first official live album, America’s favourite evil clown rap-metal circus act decided to go with an all-out double dip, and the band runs through competent if unremarkable versions of songs from throughout their career. The instrumentalists are in pretty good form (even if I don’t know what half of them are there for), but vocalist Corey Taylor sounds hoarse and worn out. If you’re a Slipknot fan, this is probably a must purchase. If you’re not, this won’t do anything to change your mind about the band.

2/5

(Feel free to add 3 more if you think Slipknot is the greatest live band since Insane Clown Posse.)
