| I am notorious for going on holidays with an empty suitcase. It's refreshing to seek out record stores, comic shops and independent boutiques with a different focus, selection or style than you'd find at home. If you can't get away from the daily grind to check out what's happening across the globe, you can always see what the Internet has to offer.
I'm a sucker for a clever T-shirt, and johnnycupcakes.com is filled with them. From their newest limited edition Halloween shirts to cupcake parodies of popular images, the shirts are not your usual Gap fare. All shirts are under $32 US, with belts selling for about $22 US.
Evildesign.com is a design studio that dabbles in projects varying from street art to vinyl collectibles. In addition to showcasing their various projects, the online store carries a variety of must-have pins, a Yoda Mr. T hybrid shirt and figurines. You can also search the portfolio and gallery sections of the site to see past projects like Gum magazine’s tribute to Mr. Rogers or the Fresh Blood Russian Dolls Set.
