Craptastic journalism
Re: "Feeling the squeeze: Indie businesses struggle to stay on 17th Avenue in wake of Red Mile madness," by Jeremy Klaszus, Cover, August 25-31, 2005.

Who are you trying to kid with this "Feeling the squeeze" story? Surely not patrons of the defunct and relocated businesses you mention, over half of which vacated 17th Avenue several weeks or months before the Red Mile saga began. Perhaps you were working under the assumption that your audience is calendar-less?

Like the article that broke the two-year-old story on the undeveloped Mission condos on Fourth Street and 21st Avenue, this is craptastic, boring and inaccurate journalism.
