BROKEN SPINDLES Inside/Absent Saddle Creek · The bassist from The Faint turns part-time experimental film music into a full-time side project. Minimal. Sparse. Bare bones. No frills. Inside/Absent effectively combines ivory tinkling, keyboard flatulence, a drum machine and wispy, ever-so-slightly tortured vocals. 3/5 LAURA GLICK
