THE WHITE STRIPES
Get Behind Me Satan
V2
· Note to Jack White when you are laying down vocal tracks, try not to sound like you are being strangled.
The fifth full-length from The White Stripes just doesnt leave much of an impression. Sure, you can give them credit for taking a more laidback approach, but repeated listens reveal that Jack White should stay plugged in, Meg White shouldnt sing, and old-style blues filtered through two white kids just sounds better when they play it loud.
