A summer fantasy crime spree
Summer vacation. I remember the excitement that came with planning those glorious months of summer before employment and responsibility became my guide. After watching countless movies aimed at my age group – teens having PG-13 adventures that involved kissing and crashing a country club – I was primed for anything.

Anything usually meant bike rides and walks to the skate park, peppered with "Sev runs" to get Slurpees and coke-bottle gummies. I had planned for car chases and finding lost suitcases full of money. I usually ended up with books from the library. This summer I've vowed to let loose. Despite my job and various commitments, I am going on a crime spree. And to add an extra element of danger, I’m doing it in the U.S. As a monkey. A famous monkey.

At furious-george.net you can live out your cross-country crime spree fantasies through a beloved children’s book character. While moving across the various states by foot, hitchhiking or stealing a white Ford Bronco, you can commit atrocities as mundane as leading a pack of wolves to a daycare centre or go for the glory by killing a man with toenail clippers. The goal is to be wanted in as many states as possible, and you earn bonus points by committing high profile crimes before escaping into Mexico or Canada. Beware repeat offenders – if you stay in a state too long your sunglasses disguise will be discovered and you’ll end up in jail.

Oh, and a heads up – the man in the yellow hat will turn you in the first chance he gets.
