| Black besmirched Heralds reputation |
| I read Susan Scott's article ("Conrad's comeuppance: A former Herald editor remembers the Black days of Calgary journalism," Viewpoint, November 11-17, 2004) and recalled how I always viewed Conrad Black. I fully agree with the author's viewpoints and can proudly say that I stopped buying the Calgary Herald when the strike began and have not purchased a copy since. When journalists' ethics are impeded it does not do the public any good. Black still reminds me of George W. Bush in a Gestapo uniform.
