Klein’s comments showed ignorance
Premier Klein spoke of disabled people not looking disabled and "severely normal" people not caring about AISH issues.

I can't help but think that, in his statements, Premier Klein has once again demonstrated his own disabilities as a leader.

There is no question that any social program will have a small number of people who choose to abuse it – we need to strive to strike a balance very heavily in favour of those who need it.

However, the premier seems to ignore (and is his ignorance not a disability when he is a leader?) the fact that some disabilities (schizophrenia, for one example) have no physical manifestation and can often be under control, but still render people "unattractive" to the work force.

It continually amazes me that this man displays… a level of ignorance of issues that are anything other than superficial, and yet enjoys such tremendous popular support. Not unlike another leader not too far from us.

Our premier seems to recognize that roads need paving, but if a person isn't obviously and physically disabled, he assumes all is fine. How shallow and superficial can his thinking be?
