Theres a bit of a change happening in Calgarys musical landscape literally. Sloth Records is moving from its current location to a bigger one a little further south on Fourth Street S.W. As of October 4 (roughly), youll be able to find it across the street from the Rose and Crown, which is about a block-and-a-half from where it is now.

The anthology, on the German label Network Records, is called The Diaspora of Rembetiko, and features the best purveyors of rembetiko from around the globe. The Hipsters contribution is "Mes Tis Polis To Hamam (In the Citys Bathhouses)" from their 2001 release Architects of Narghile. Ask for The Diaspora of Rembetiko at finer music stores near you, or visit www.networkmedien.de for more information.
