The Top five reasons I can't recommend the debut album by Delays.
1. The album starts with the sound of steel drums.
2. Delays used to be a glam-rock band from Southhampton, England.
3. All songs were written by singer Greg Gilbert while suffering from a
crippling bout of depression at art school.
4. The album sounds like something you'd hear on a light FM radio
station.
5. Gilbert's choir-boy falsetto and the band’s obsession with the Byrds
and Cocteau Twins.
