What will I do when playoffs are over?
Since the playoffs started I have found myself with a shrinking set of standards involving my apartment’s general upkeep and quality time with my friends. Tidying up means shoving the empties to the storage closet and drinking with my friends now has to include a television – OK, I guess nothing has really changed. But as the rush to the Cup gets closer, my anxiety grows. When the hockey season is over, what the hell will I do with myself until the World Cup in August?

One option is joining the geek brigade with an online role-playing game (RPG). Since I’m not a huge fan of online gaming I’d have to find one that had a snide and sarcastic side I could relate to. Welcome to kingdomofloathing.com, an RPG with a comic twist. Characters include seal clubbers, accordion thieves, disco bandits and sorcerers. Your enemies consist of menacing booze giants and fierce ninja snowmen. Meat is the currency and special items range from the dolphin king’s crown to a meatloaf helmet. "An Adventurer is You!"

I could ponder the prefabricated home of my dreams at fabprefab.com. Built in a warehouse with a modular concept, prefabricated homes are becoming more interesting to consumers looking for an affordable approach to housing that can involve energy efficiency, fewer wasted building materials and a specific design plan that varies from the traditional. Just build, box and ship to the lot of your choice. The site is more of an ideas forum than a marketplace, but a few choice architecture firms are listed that are pursuing the prefab concept.

However, more than likely (actually I'm almost certain), I’ll be at wch2004.com. The official site for World Cup Hockey, complete with team rosters, venues and ticket purchase information.
