ELECTION

Let’s hear your election rants
Election campaigns are a time of excitement, with the entire country galvanized by a future of possibilities and a fair competition amongst our finest for the privilege of leading the masses. You’re not still reading, are you?

Elections are really about whatever voters want them to be about, which means everyone falls over themselves offering to listen to the electorate. Well, we love a good dogpile, so here’s our plea: tell us your thoughts. We’re dedicating this section of the paper to reader’s election ramblings, whatever they may be. We went through all the effort of setting up a special e-mail address – election@ffwd.greatwest.ca – so you can spout off on anything election related. Rant for or against candidates, rally your fellow voters, drag the electoral process over the coals or provide us story ideas that we don’t have to pay you for. Embarrassing candidate photos are also welcome. Keep it short and to the point because, well, we don’t want to have to edit you.

This week’s optional themes: 1: Does the old political spectrum of left vs. right still matter? 2: Whatever happened to the political mustache?
