Maintenance is a five-song acoustic offering from Winnipeg-based singer-songwriter Greg MacPherson. But why should you care about a stripped-down EP, especially when MacPherson put out a more instrumentally-rounded full-length in 2002?
Because theres lots of passion here, whether its in the cover of the Clash classic "Bankrobber" or in the portrait of a lonely aging mother in "Slow Stroke." Because the fiery Cape Breton miners narrative "Company Store" has never been released on record before. And because if you cant get out to see him live, this is a good yet quick introduction to what one of Canadas finer up-and-coming musicians is all about.
