THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT HEROES
Superiority Complex
Longshot Music
· Champion city punk rock – and other delusions of grandeur.

Remember back when anyone who was anyone was in a punk band, or knew someone who was? The Wednesday Night Heroes are all about that homebrewed, TV party tonight, Doc Martens ’n’ plaid trousers sound. Feisty, two-fisted, sing-along-style numbers proliferate and fornicate with a vengeance, as the boys rack ’em up and suck ’em down. You can just picture the overflowing mosh pit as The Heroes plow through their swiftly paced 12-tune set. Shades of The Dropkick Murphys and Dayglo Abortions are apparent throughout, and some songs, such as "Defenseless," even glimmer with Minor Threat potential. In the end, it proves to be better when everybodysings, because front-guy "G Man" is about as articulate as a juicy fart.
