Nerf Herder may go down in history as the band who wrote the "Theme from Buffy the Vampire Slayer," but they were well on their way to a career out from under that shadow. Catchy gems built on mocking pop culture icons like Van Halen and Mr. Spock were their forté, yet for some reason My EP tackles nothing more than tepid single entendres.
Taking their cue from Blink 182's adolescent bonus tracks, songs like "Fight for Your Right to Masturbate" barely tell a story. Clearly Nerf Herder have blown their load, and now their guitars lie spent and flaccid in their hands.
