| My partner’s wetsuit is bundled in a drawer. It’s taunting him with memories of surfing in Australia, the salt water burning his eyes and the underwater rock rippin’ his bare feet. He’s been moping around the house wondering if anything can come close to the feeling of the ocean under his feet again.
Luckily for him, my friend Danika Dugan and her partner Noah Umholtz were looking for guinea pigs for their new custom longboard company, Landshark. All it took was four feet of wood, Seismic trucks and 70 millimetre Kryptonic wheels and he was giggling like a kid in a candy store.

If you’ve ever wanted to skateboard but felt you didn’t have the co-ordination to ride on a teeny plank with even tinier wheels, try the longboard experience – it’s like ditching the flashy two-seater sports car for the smooth-sailing Lincoln Town Car.
