· "I used to live in Calgary. I wasn’t gay, but a lot of girls made me wish I was. A lot of guys made me wish I was. Not because I wanted them, but if they were hetero, I didn’t want to be like them" – Bruce McCulloch from "Lil’ Gay Waiter."

Fresh from The Kids in the Hall’s cross-continental "Tour of Duty," comedian Bruce McCulloch presents his second full-length comedy recording. Combining music with stand-up style spoken word, McCulloch parodies his favourite musicians while spewing satire too risqué for his other projects. Stupidity reigns supreme in Brucio-land, where our diminutive dramatist is free to explore his manifold hang-ups, distractions and shortcomings – such as having sex while talking to his mother on the speakerphone and staring at his high school graduation photo. This album has all the substance and appeal of a dirty nappy.
