The Wild Thornberrys Movie is a morally responsible cartoon for all kids of all ages. Never mind the fact that this movie that drops Eliza Thornberry in the Serengeti Plains marks the first jump to the big-screen for the hit animated TV show – it nevertheless requires a critique with the credibility of authority. We need experts in the field of wisdom, historical figures renowned for their philosophical analysis of society. So, let's ask these great minds if they have any enlightening thoughts regarding the cartoon? First, our Greek friend, Plato:

"Thanks for asking. The path of knowledge lies in multi-dimensional forms, articulated in the film’s surprising multi-dimensional character development."

Thanks, Plato. How about you, Jean-Jacques Rousseau? The Thornberrys are outdoor types, and your authority in 'the natural' sparked the French Revolution. Anything revolutionary here?

"Yes, nature is fundamental to understanding hierarchical law, whether free or chained by the greed of others."

Thanks, Jean. Now, Sun-Tzu, ancient writer of The Art of War, what did you think of the cartoon's poacher sequence?

"The art of war lies in the path of destruction. I will destroy you."

Uhh… thanks, Sun-Tzu.

Maybe we should retreat to safer ground. Fred Rogers, star of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, you’re an authority in children's entertainment – how did the cartoon make you feel?

"What a good feeling. It's such a good feeling to know you’re alive. It's such a happy feeling you’re growing inside, and when you wake up ready to say, ‘I think I'll make a snappy today,’ it's such a good feeling, a very good feeling, the feeling you know that I'll be back, when the day is new, and I'll have more ideas for you, and you'll have things you'll want to talk about – I…will… too.

"You always make each day a special day, by just your being you. Just like Eliza Thornberry, who realizes you don't need extraordinary powers to do extraordinary things. I'll be back next time. Goodbye everybody!"
