| Buy a nice bottle of Mateuse for Anne Jayne as she did a bang up job on a story that was virtually ignored by them other newz schmucks: Heather Reisman's decision to ban Mein Kampf from the shelves of Chapters. First of all, you'd figure that a company that owes more money than my student loan would be glad to sell whatever books they can.
That's beside the point. Reisman's purge of a book shows her contempt for her customers' intellect. This whole thing reeks of the kinda purges that Hitler, Klink, Burghalter and Hochstetter tried to pull 60-plus years ago. If Reisman is gonna get rid of "dangerous" material then lets not only put A. Hitler's "Dear Diary," Mein Kampf, on the pyre, but let's toss on the works of Richard Wagner, Nikki Machievelli, Socrates and any other right royal prick who has ever printed a word or composed a note that was diff'rent than popular opinion.
Friends, do yourselves a favour and shop at a store that allows you to use your own judgement and discretion. The Heather Reisman Book Explosion sho' ain't letting anyone do that.
