Web Watch by Courtney Thompson Some people just don’t believe me when I tell them about the freaky sites I’ve stumbled upon in my online travels. I’ll be searching for a site for Hickory Farms and wham! All of a sudden some strange and bizarre phenomenon loads before my eyes. These are a few of my favourite accidental findings: notCNN.com came from searching for tidbits about This Hour has 22 Minutes. The archives on this site need a little work (the links don’t always load properly and can be hard to manoeuvre in), but for a quick laugh the cartoons can’t be beat. See Jean Chretien rope a steer on Oprah! Watch Martha Stewart in Iraq! You can’t make up stuff this good. While hunting for political agendas, somehow I ran into the folks at jibjab.com. If you’re looking to see Al Gore and George W. Bush in a throwdown, rapping their campaign promises, this is the place. Additionally, you can play "Memories" on the Fart Waffle (this is beyond description) and watch Nasty Santa. If you’re up for it, you can also play Dick Johnson’s game show (self-dubbed the hardest game show on the Web) and see how far your knowledge of Different Strokes takes you. For the brave of heart may I suggest doodie.com? This site takes potty humour to the next level – Adam Sandler is a fan so you know to proceed with caution. Cartoon after cartoon of a madman’s obsession with fecal matter. Send it to someone you like or, better yet, someone you don’t. A friend told me about this one – he’s now left the country.
