Ask Jeeves.com

It’s 1:30 a.m., you’ve run out of coffee and that 15-page term paper ain’t writin’ itself. You realize there’s no way you took home all the information you needed from the library and pulling a no-show is not recommended. Before you give up and throw your terminal out the window, give AskJeeves.com a try.

The site’s a glorified search engine that does all the work for you. Just pick a topic and instead of looking through endless search results that don’t always yield what you’re looking for, you can find information more accurately related to your topic.

Ask Jeeves is devoted to the four-year-old in all of us. It’s like all those questions you asked when you were a kid, except the answer is better than, "It just is honey, now go to sleep." You can pretty much get an answer for anything you’ve been thinking about or trying to locate on the Internet. Choose from various areas of interest like computers, society or travel, or check out the Jeeves Peek option which lets you see a list of questions asked in the last 30 seconds (it’s a more revealing look into society than any episode of Oprah). Another benefit is that you can really ask anything – whatever floats your boat, Jeeves will find a way to connect you. He won’t laugh or pass judgment when you ask about sock-monkey porn.

So if you need to write a paper on the top 100 languages by population, or if you’re out for lunch with the boss and the topic turns to e-commerce, be prepared, Ask Jeeves.
