Letter by FFWD Reader Re: Anti-cowboy article shows lack of C&W knowledge (Letters, July 13 issue) For what cause Ms. Van Oosten hopped onto the soapbox I’m none too sure, but I am interested in the soapbox – is it for sale? Now that the Stampede is over (it is over, isn’t it?) I have a few real deal C&W CDs I’d like to put away until next year. Jason Buchwald, Calgary P.S. Was Ms. Van Oosten acting as spokesperson for Sensitive Canadians Against Satire; as a champion for small town heritage; as vindictive scenester personally agitated by Mr. Matheson’s Raggedy-Andy appearance (and his ability to get away with it)...?
