TOM JONES
Reload
Attic

· Covers album featuring duets with Tom Jones and a hodgepodge of music elite like Stereophonics, Cardigans, Portishead and The Pretenders.

The Talking Heads’ "Burning Down the House" sung with the Cardigans? "Are You Gonna Go My Way" with Robbie Williams? "Little Green Bag" accompanied by Barenaked Ladies?

The entire project should remind you of when Tom Jones covered Prince’s "Kiss" some years back. And not just because of the tireless Welsh pop star’s respectably earnest approach to recognizable hits, and the kitschfully cool way most of the songs come off. No, the biggest reason for déjà vu is that all Jones is still really asking for is your extra time – and for an album as unabashedly fun as this, that’s not asking much at all.
